Overview

Did you know that only 1% of nursing students continue on to become managers in their careers? With so many textbooks focused on teaching students what to do as a manager, it's hard to believe that the majority of them will never fill a managerial role. Every nursing student, however, will need to adapt to the evolving health care landscape and lead others along the way. Luckily best-selling authors Tim Porter O'Grady and Kathy Malloch recognize this and provide the most realistic and practical approach to do so with Leadership in Nursing Practice: Changing the Landscape of Health Care.
