Steven C. Campbell, M.D., Ph.D., is Professor of Surgery and a member of the Section of Urologic Oncology in the Glickman Urological Institute at The Cleveland Clinic.  He obtained MD and PhD degrees at The University of Chicago and then did a Urology Residency at The Cleveland Clinic (1989-1995), followed by a fellowship in Urologic Oncology at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center (1995-1996).  Dr. Campbell’s primary interests include renal cell carcinoma, bladder cancer, prostate cancer, treatment related osteoporosis, and tumor angiogenesis.  His background also includes American Foundation for Urological Diseases (now known as the American Urological Association Foundation) and Kimmel Research Scholarship Awards, and he is a former member of the American Board of Urology Examination Committee.  Dr. Campbell is currently on the patient education council for American Urological Association Foundation and the medical advisory board for the Kidney Cancer Association.

Brian I. Rini, MD-Glickman Urological Institute, Cleveland, Ohio

Brian I. Rini, MD, is currently a Staff member in The Department of Solid Tumor Oncology at the Cleveland Clinic Taussig Cancer Center, focusing on genitourinary malignancies. He received his Bachelor of Arts degree cum laude from The University of Notre Dame and his MD from The Ohio State University College of Medicine. Dr. Rini then completed a residency in Internal Medicine and a fellowship in Hematology and Oncology at The University of Chicago. Dr. Rini was an Assistant Professor of Medicine at the University of California San Francisco from 2001 to 2005. Dr. Rini joined the staff of the Cleveland Clinic Foundation in July 2005 with a joint academic appointment as Associate Professor of Medicine at Case Western Reserve University. His primary research interest is in renal cell carcinoma, focusing on anti-angiogenic and immunotherapeutic approaches. He is an active member of numerous medical societies, including the American Society of Clinical Oncology. Dr. Rini has authored over 60 publications and is the principal investigator of several protocols in kidney cancer, including an international phase III trial of interferon versus interferon plus bevacizumab in metastatic RCC.

Robert G. Uzzo, MD-Department of Surgical Oncology, Fox Chase Cancer Center, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania

Robert G. Uzzo, MD, FACS, is currently an Associate Professor of Surgery at Fox Chase Cancer Center and Temple University School of Medicine. Dr. Uzzo graduated summa cum laude from Union College prior to attending Cornell University Medical College. He completed 2 years of general surgical training at The New York Hospital-Cornell Medical Center and Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center under the tutelage of G. Thomas Shires, MD. Dr. Uzzo went on to complete 4 years of urologic surgical training also at The New York Hospital-Cornell Medical Center and Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center under the guidance of E. Darracott Vaughan, MD. He then became an American Foundation for Urological Diseases (now the American Urological Association Foundation) Scholar in Urological Oncology at the Cleveland Clinic under the direction of Andrew C. Novick, MD. Dr. Uzzo went on to complete a second fellowship in Renal Vascular Surgery and Transplantation also at the Cleveland Clinic Foundation. He has an active and funded lab researching the basic mechanisms of kidney and prostate cancer. His clinical interests are in minimally invasive urological oncology. He is the national urology principal investigator for the E.C.O.G. 2805 (A.S.S.U.R.E.) trial and is the co-chair of the genitourinary early management committee at E.C.O.G. Dr. Uzzo is a member of the American Urologic Association, a fellow in the American College of Surgeons, a member of the American Association of Cancer Research, the Society for Basic Urological Research, the Society of Urological Oncology, and also on the medical advisory board for the Kidney Cancer Association. He has authored more than 100 peer reviewed articles and chapters in urology and urologic oncology and has been the recipient of numerous awards.

Brian Lane, MD, PhD-Glickman Urological Institute, Cleveland, Ohio

Brian R. Lane, MD, PhD, is Chief Resident in the Glickman Urological Institute of Cleveland Clinic. He graduated cum laude from Yale University before completing both MD and PhD degrees at the University of Michigan. He serves as the resident member of the ACGME Residency Review Committee for Urology. He has authored more than 40 peer reviewed articles and has been the recipient of numerous awards. His clinical interests are in urological oncology and minimally-invasive surgery. His research has focused on characterizing molecular factors involved in angiogenesis and kidney cancer and predicting outcomes in kidney cancer patients. He has been a fellow of the Medical Scientist Training Program and the Mustard Seed Foundation.

Stephanie Chisolm, PhD-Director of Patient Education, American Urological Association Foundation, Linthicum, Maryland

Stephanie Chisolm, PhD, is currently the Director of Patient Education for the American Urological Association in Linthicum, MD. As such, she uses previous experience in community health education and university teaching to develop programs, products, and services with the goal that the American Urological Association Foundation becomes the undisputed source for accurate, reputable urologic patient education and information. Dr. Chisolm earned her PhD in Health Education/Health Promotion from the University of Alabama at Birmingham in 2000.
