Sherry T. Brown, MS-Forensic Chemistry and Criminalistics Program Coordinator, York College of Pennsylvania

Sherry Brown earned her B.S Chemistry from Lebanon Valley College and her M.S. Forensic Chemistry at the University of Pittsburgh. Since 1980 she has been an instructor of Criminal Justice and Forensic Chemistry at York College of Pennsylvania. She developed a new major in Forensic Chemistry for the college in 2004, and serves as the program coordinator. She teaches courses in Criminalistics, Forensic Body Fluid Analysis, Crime Scene Processing, and Fire & Explosion Investigation. She previously worked as a forensic chemist with the New Jersey State Police.

Sherry Brown is also a member of several professional organizations: The American Academy of Forensic Science (AAFS), the Mid-Atlantic Association of Forensic Scientists (MAAFS), the American Chemical Society (ACS), the Northeastern Association of Forensic Scientists (NEAFS), and the National Association of High School Teachers of Forensic Sciences (NAHSTOFS).
