Daniel J. Bruton-President, SportRx, California

Dan teaches sports marketing at the University of San Diego and sports licensing at the San Diego State University Sports Management MBA program.  A former college basketball player and now 20 year veteran of the sports marketing industry, Dan ran marketing for The Upper Deck Company when they were a top licensee in sports.  His team managed the image and likeness for trading cards and memorabilia for such sports icons as Tiger Woods, Michael Jordan, Kobe Bryant and Peyton Manning. He currently is the President of the e-commerce company SportRx, the leading provider of sports prescription eyewear to athletes.  SportRx was recently ranked as the tenth best place to work in America by Outside Magazine.  He has been a frequent speaker on the subject of sports business for many media outlets including ESPN, FOX, NBC, CBS, Forbes, US News, PBS and the Washington Post.
