Manoj Sharma, MBBS, MCHES, PhD, FAAHB-School of Public Health, Jackson State University

Manoj Sharma, MBBS, MCHES, Ph.D.,FAAHB,  is a professor in the school of Public Health at Jackson State University. He is a physician by initial training and has also completed his doctorate in Preventive Medicine/Public Health from The Ohio State University. He has worked in Community Health designing and evaluating health education programs for more than 25 years at all levels: local (Columbus Health Department, Omaha Healthy Start Program, Lead Safe Omaha Coalition); state (Nebraska Health & Human Services, Ohio Commission on Minority Health, Ohio Department of Health); national (American School Health Association, Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, National Commission for Health Education Credentialing); and international (India, Italy, Mongolia, Nepal, United Arab Emirates, United Kingdom, Vietnam). His research interests are in designing and evaluating theory-based health education and health promotion programs, childhood obesity, alternative and complementary systems of health, and community-based participatory research. His hobbies include: yoga and meditation.

Ashutosh Atri, MD, MS is a Child & Adolescent Psychiatry Fellow at the University of Texas Health Sciences Center. He has completed post graduate training in health education and health promotion from the University of Cincinnati. He has worked as a physician at SS Medical College, Rewa, India and MGM Medical College, Indore, India. His research interests are in the field of international health, psychoeducation, mental health and designing health education interventions for the mentally ill.

Paul Branscum, Ph.D., RD, is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Health & Exercise Science at University of Oklahoma.He is a dietitian by initial training and has completed his doctorate in Health Promotion and Education from the University of Cincinnati in 2011. His research interests include health promotion among children, survey design, mental health, and designing health promotion and education strategies to reduce childhood obesity.
