Rosanne DiZazzo-Miller, DrOT, OTR/L-Assistant Professor, Wayne State University
Rosanne DiZazzo-Miller, DrOT, OTR/L received her Bachelors degree from Adrian College, Michigan, her masters degree in occupational therapy from Eastern Michigan University, and her doctoral degree from Nova Southeastern University, Ft. Lauderdale, Florida. Entering academia in 2003, she serves on the faculty at Wayne State University in Detroit, Michigan. Prior to her career in academia, she worked in clinical practice in traumatic brain and spinal cord injury rehabilitation, which encompassed clients from pediatrics through late adulthood. She is currently involved in assistive technology consultation for clients with brain and spinal cord injuries, in addition to providing caregiver training for the Alzheimer’s Association of Michigan. Research interests include various modes of instructional learning delivery, and outcomes research. She has presented at the state, national, and international level. She is a member of the American Occupational Therapy Association, and serves on the Political Action Committee for the Michigan Occupational Therapy Association.
