Fred Windisch serves as Fire Chief for the Ponderosa Volunteer Fire Department in Houston, Texas. Chief Windisch is a graduate of the National Fire Academy’s Executive Fire Officer Program (EFOP) program and is a Chief Fire Officer Designate. He is an Emergency Medical Technician and holds various fire fighter and instructor certifications.

Fred C. Crosby

Chief Fred Crosby is a 30 year emergency services veteran that began his service as a volunteer EMS provider in 1976. Chief Crosby began his professional affiliation with emergency services as a firefighter for the Chesterfield County (VA) Fire Department in 1979. He served in almost every rank in his career until rising to Department Head in local government in 1989. Chief Crosby currently serves as the Chief of Hanover County (VA) Fire and EMS Department.
