“The authors succeed in providing a comprehensive stepwise approach to the EKG interpretation.  It is one of my favorite EKG texts.  The full size EKGs and the detailed discussion of the salient features are particularly appealing.”

"I have been tutoring in 12 Lead and Dysrhythmias for several years and out of all of the books I have used over that time, Dr. Garcia's books are by far the best resources!  I like the format of having the 3 levels, all of the examples, and the chapter layouts."

    CCU at Kootenai Medical Center
    Coeur d"Alene, Idaho

"This textbook is an exceptional educational tool and resource for medical providers, trainees and students.  The material is very well presented and appeals to all levels of users -- irrespective of their background comfort with ECG reading and interpretation. Indeed one can find comfort navigating through it progressively from a basic level to an advanced one. The material in its complexity of its depth and the simplicity of its presentation is superb and unique and able to withstand close scrutiny.  I am very impressed by what I found and read. Simply stated, this is a textbook that I will cherish and continue to use myself as a resource."

    Paramedic Roy L. McCray

"I feel that it is highly appropriate for residents, medical students, paramedics, and nurses. It is clear, concise, and accurate...It is friendly without being verbose. It is warm without a sacrifice of science...Explanations are thorough and well done."

    G. Richard Brain, Professor and Chairman, Department of Emergency Medicine
    Buffalo General Hospital

"The material is very appropriate and serves the needs of a varied audience by the use of the Level 1, 2, 3 approach...The levels are a very novel approach, and were I to teach a 12-lead EKG class with people of varying experience with EKG, I would choose this text for that reason."

John Saito, EMT-P, MPH, Oregon Health Sciences University
    Mt. Hood Community College

"I find the structural levels to be appropriate and well organized. The beginning chapters provide for an introductory reader, whereas the advanced reader could use the beginning chapter as appropriate for review."

Gerard Oncale, RN, BSN, CEN, REMT-P, Louisiana Organ Procurement Agency

"We are delighted with 12-Lead ECG:  The Art of Interpretation. The approach is very creative, providing clear instruction from the basics to the more advanced. The author's technique of providing reminders, clinical pearls and quick reviews is very effective. Add to this the best graphics I have ever seen in a book on ECGs. We are recommending this fine book for our medical students, house officers and allied health professionals."
