Adult & Pediatric CPR and AED Online

The Adult & Pediatric CPR and AED Online course bridges the gap between traditional adult CPR and the special needs of infants and children. This course teaches basic life support including rescue breathing, CPR, AED use, and care for foreign-body airway obstruction for adult and pediatric victims.

Adult CPR Online

In this course, users learn the critical actions that compose the Chain of Survival. They learn the symptoms and methods of treatment including rescue breathing and adult CPR, how to operate an AED, prevention practices, and when to call for help.

AED Online (Medtronic Custom Version)

This AAOS/ACEP online course teaches laypersons and health care professionals how to operate two Medtronic automated external defibrillators: Lifepak 500, and CR Plus. Length: 1.5 hours National Certification Provided: AAOS/ACEP Emergency Care & Safety Institute (ECSI). Requires separate practical exam. Continuing Education Hours Provided: None

AED Online (Phillips Custom Version)

This AAOS/ACEP online course teaches laypersons and health care professionals how to operate two Phillips automated external defibrillators. Length: 1.5 hours National Certification Provided: AAOS/ACEP Emergency Care & Safety Institute (ECSI). Requires separate practical exam. Continuing Education Hours Provided: None

APLS Case Presentations

The newest addition to the APLS “teaching-and-learning” system is APLS Case Presentations. Use them in your APLS courses to “mix it up,” or use them for individual study and CME credit, or both! The cases are all new—you won’t find them in the book or the teaching materials. The APLS Steering Committee will be adding more cases soon, so check back for more.
