Dr. Hayden is the Chairperson of the Department of Community Health at William Patterson University and Director of the School Nurse Certification Program She holds a master’s degree in health education from Montclair State College and a doctorate in community health education from New York University. She is a registered nurse and a certified health education specialist.  Her interests and expertise are in professional preparation and credentialing. She teaches Health Education Theory and Practice, Human Disease, and Applied Program Planning.
