  • "This is a well-organized textbook with updates consistent with the changes within the profession. The updates include recent changes in APTA HOD Legislation, changes with Direct Access, Health Care Reform, Medicare caps, and changes in the APTA Vision. The strengths of this edition include: Great historical information on the development of the profession and the PTA, and additional review questions at the end of each chapter to assist with student in studying the material from the chapter."

~ Charlene S. Jensen, PT, DPT, Program Director, Physical Therapist Assistant Program, Riverside College of Health Careers

  • "[I] like the addition of review and discussion questions to end each chapter.  The review questions are a nice mix of basic definitions and application. I applaud the changes the author is making, especially the re-organization and addition of the Professional Development content of Chapter 5 - Practice Areas.  That was the one thing missing in another text, and I like your text better."

~ Debbie Van Dover, PT, MEd, Program Director Physical Therapist Assistant Program, Mt. Hood Community College
