  • 5 - Star Amazon Review:
"The second edition of this book was a great overview of all the material included in my OT program, with a lot more detail than the first edition. A 45-day study plan was provided that corresponded to the book material, providing a good example of how to study, and served as a good template to use to make your own study schedule. The detailed charts provided were a wonderful reference and emphasized important material throughout the chapter in an organized and clear manner. The short chapters made the material manageable to accomplish during my study schedule and the book writing style was easy to read. At the end of each chapter, quiz questions or activities were provided to reinforce each chapter’s content. The access to online test practice questions was an amazing resource and of immense value; over 1000 questions included for nearly a third the price of other exam prep options. The test practice questions were comparable to the NBCOT test format and provided clear rationales for each correct and incorrect answer choice. The test questions were slightly more challenging than actual NBCOT questions encountered, preparing me well to succeed on exam day. . Approximately 20 CSTs were also included on a variety of topics. The online site was easy to navigate and test questions could be attempted by chapter to even further reinforce chapter content. The format of the test taking mode was similar to the actual NBCOT, with an option to highlight content and cross out answer choices. The online access also included a copy of the book in eBook format if you prefer an electronic format. The book itself was very well edited, with corrections of a few errors found in the first printing of the book already posted on the publishers catalog page. I used this book as a primary study source for the NBCOT exam and passed on my first attempt by a large margin. This book helped organize me in studying for the NBCOT, review pertinent test information, and calm my anxieties my anticipation of exam day as I gained confidence with my test taking abilities. I would recommend this book to anyone preparing for the NBCOT and plan to use it in the future as a general reference during my OT practice." - Amazon Student Review
