Elizabeth Zorzanello Emery, MS, RD, CNSC, LDN-Assistant Professor, Nutrition, La Salle University School of Nursing and Health Sciences


Elizabeth Zorzanello Emery is an Assistant Professor of Nutrition in the School of Nursing and Health Sciences at LaSalle University in Philadelphia. She has practiced in the field of Dietetics for over 25 years and is a Licensed Registered Dietitian and Board Certified Nutrition Support Clinician. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Foods and Nutrition from Drexel University, completed her Coordinated Program in Nutrition at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania, and holds a Master of Science in Health Education from St. Joseph’s University in Philadelphia. She serves on the boards of the Philadelphia Area Society for Parenteral and Enteral Nutrition and the Philadelphia Dietetic Association. She currently teaches both theory and practice courses in Medical Nutrition Therapy and supervises Dietetic Interns in LaSalle’s Coordinated Program in Dietetics. She has been the recipient of several teaching awards, including the Make a Difference Award given by the Drexel University Student Athletes and the Outstanding Dietetics Educator Award given by the American Dietetic Association.
