Marilyn Herbert-Ashton, MS, RN, BC

Marilyn J. Herbert-Ashton, MS, RN, BC has over 20 years of teaching experience in nursing education and staff development. She is currently an Assistant Professor and Coordinator of Grants Development and Special Projects at Virginia Western Community College, Roanoke, Virginia, and is also an Adjunct Nursing Instructor at Finger Lakes Community College, Canandaigua, New York, where she teaches a distance learning pharmacology course. She is published in the area of pharmacology and has taught pharmacology for over 15 years.

Nancy Clarkson, MEd, RN, BC

Nancy Elaine Clarkson, MEd, RN, BC received her Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing from Keuka College, Keuka Park, New York and her master’s in Nursing Education from Teacher’s College, New York, New York. She currently is Chairperson and Professor of Nursing in the Nursing Department at Finger Lakes Community College in Canandaigua, New York. During here extensive career in nursing education, Nancy has taught students in diploma, baccalaureate, and associate degree programs. She has focused her teaching in the subjects of Medical-Surgical Nursing and Pharmacology. She is previously published in the area of Pharmacology. For many years, she has taught Pharmacology in the classroom and more recently online via computer.
