New to this Edition!

Over 20,000 food choices, MyPyramid, 2005 Dietary Guidelines, and current DRIs.

Food Item Record
Here, you can add new Food Item database records and/or edit the nutritional values of any existing food item. This is the edit window where new records are created and current records are modified. Much information can be stored about a food, but two items are essential before a food item can be stored: a name and a gram weight. The remaining elements (other measures, food groups, nutritional values, etc.) can be added or modified later.

Profile
The profile window allows you to enter information about yourself and monitor your daily exercise and nutritional habits.

Ratios and Percents
The Ratios and Percents report is useful for quickly seeing where the calories and fat in your Foodlist come from. The Source of Calories graph shows the percentage of calories from protein, carbohydrates, fat, and alcohol. The Source of Fat Graph shows the percentages of saturated, monounsaturated, polyunsaturated, and other fats.

Edit Food Item Record
You can examine food items for their nutritional content before adding them to a Food list or after they are already in the Food list.
