ShowReviews

  • "The text is written at a level that is both entertaining and appropriate for college students.  Students will be able to relate to the examples and illustrations used to explain the concepts and constructs of each theory.  The chapters are thorough and yet short enough not to overwhelm the reader.  This text will be an excellent resource for students to keep as they graduate and begin practicing health education and it will provide good resource material to prepare for the CHES exam."

—Melody S. Madlem, Central Washington University

  • "[This text] is user friendly for undergraduate students, fills a niche, and has good coverage of health education/behavior theory.  The text I currently use only has one chapter dedicated to all of the theories we cover – this text would help tremendously."

—Retta Evans, University of Alabama at Birmingham
