Charles J. Baker

Charles J. Baker has been involved with the fire service during his entire adult life, enlisting as a volunteer in 1953 and culminating in Life Member status many years later. He currently serves as Chaplain for the Wayne Township Fire Department in Indianapolis (IN) and is also a lifetime member of the Indiana Fire Instructors Association, the Indiana Volunteer Firefighters Association, and the International Association of Fire Chiefs.

 

Mr. Baker and his wife Linda first published The Firefighter’s Handbook of Hazardous Materials in 1972 and are presently enjoying retirement at their rural home in the central Indiana.
