B.A. Luceigh, PhD-University of California, Los Angeles, California

Dr. Luceigh has taught at the University of California, Los Angeles since 1986, specializing in organic chemistry and holds the position of Senior Lecturer. In 1989 she won the UCLA Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry Hanson-Dow Teaching Award, and in 1991 she won the UCLA Distinguished Teaching Award for Lecturer. She is the author of the educational CD-ROMs, "CHEM TV: Organic Chemistry" and "CHEM TV: Choices I" for learning organic chemistry. Dr. Luceigh received her doctorate in organic chemistry from Stanford University in 1970. She has experience in research, teaching, and academic administration. She first began teaching in 1973 at Santa Clara University, Santa Clara, California. She has also taught at Case Western Reserve University, Cleveland, and Occidental College, Los Angeles.
